You then place the baited mousetrap on top of any 5 gallon bucket. Add 3" to 6" of water to your bucket. Attach the included wooden walk-board (ramp) to the trap. Last, place the mousetrap on any 5-Gallon bucket and place where the rodent activity is and let it do it's job. The Drop In The Bucket Mouse Trap is a multi-catch mousetrap and is always set and ready to go for the next catch. * * NOTE: To use as a Live Catch-N-Release trap, do not add the water to the bucket.
